Parents for Image Consent (P.I.C.) is a new grassroots coalition of parents who have mobilized to generate awareness among parents and policymakers about the growing epidemic of online image abuse.
At P.I.C., our primary goal is to arm parents with vital information to protect their family's visual narratives and equip them with the tools needed to detect any misuse.
Our mission is crystal clear: to magnify awareness of the pervasive issue of online image abuse that particularly affects children. We are committed to providing parents with the means to safeguard their family's digital images.
Image abuse transpires when a photo shared on social media is appropriated and redistributed without consent. This not only infringes upon one's privacy but, especially concerning children, poses potential safety risks.
We hope you’ll join us in our efforts to safeguard our children‘s photos and forge a more secure digital world for all
